City of Reflection

 Photo Series | 2024 | Hong Kong

Better viewing experience on web :)

When I was a photojournalist, I often navigated through various skyscrapers. I realized that even when gazing at the same concrete jungle, the view from hundreds of meters above ground was entirely different from that at street level. From such heights, the buildings seemed to shed their architectural essence, transforming into a unique rhythm and texture. Their smooth, polished surfaces resembled giant mirrors, yet I was too insignificant to see my own reflection—only the images of other buildings were cast back.
